Guibert del Marmol
Regenerative Economist
He describes himself as an Author and Speaker. True to his motto "Change crises into oppurtunities", he travels the world supporting entrepreneurs who want to change the world and reconcile the words economy, ecology and meaning.
At the age of 30, a turning point came for the then young entrepreneur. A serious disease thwarted all his plans, but also brought him profound insights and special experiences in the field of mind-body interactions. Since 2006, he has accompanied organisations in the development of a "conscious" capitalism based on the concepts of shared value creation and ethical aspiration.
Today he is a consultant, author and speaker on Regenerative Economics. He has published two books ("Tomber plus haut" and "No Time to Waste - The Rise of a Regenerative Economy") dealing with personal and collective resilience. He lives in Brussels and works in Europe, the USA and Asia. Guibert is also Co-Director of the LuntFoundation, which promotes social entrepreneurship and sustainable solutions. In addition, he is a lecturer at the Louvain School of Management, where he heads the Chair of Regenerative Economics.
In our conversation, Guibert addresses numerous issues, such as the difference between economics and economy, the need for mission-driven societies, but also, and especially, the all-inspiring nature and its importance for the economy of tomorrow. He talks about his relationship to Frederic Laloux, who was a guest on our video show earlier. Find out what Guibert del Marmol means by the "four pillars of the Regenerative Economy" and how consciousness and the economy of the future are interrelated.
